6º Working day of Argentina Agroindustrial Chain
The international framework for adopting policies to develop argentine agroindustry

INAI Foundation took part of the sixth working day of Argentina Agroindustrial Chain realized the 10 th of November at the Rosario Stock Exchange. INAI’s Executive Director brought in the document “The International Framework for adopting policies to develop argentine agroindustry”. The presentation was made within the first module called “Agroindustrial Policy. Fundamentals for the sustained and sustainable development of the agroindustry”, sharing the panel with Alberto Porto, Julio Nogués, Cesar Ciappa y Alejandro Onofri.

Agrotendencias 2009
For the 5th year in a row, Argentina....... (PREGUNTAR TRADUCCION EXACTA DE LA FED DE ACOPIADORES EN INGLES . NO ESTA EN LA PAG) offered its seminary “Agrotendencias 2009”, bounded for making room to the analysis of all variables that impact on the markets of our most important agricultural products by international and domestic specialists.
At this time, supported by Sociedad Rural Argentina (S.R.A), Confederaciones Rurales Argentinas (C.R.A), INAI and Centro de la Industria Lechera (C.I.L), we will go beyond the grain sector, considering the point of view of well known specialists in the dairy and meat sectors, and an analysis of agricultural public policies among the region. The seminar will take place 21/10/2009 at the Salón de Operaciones of Buenos Aires Grain Stock Exchange, Corrientes 127, from 9 am

Working Table
Introduction of Market Access database
This database contains information related to: consumption, production, trade, prices, tariffs, tariff rate quotas (TRQ), TRQ administration systems, subsidies, tariff preferences and non trade barriers, among other issues, in relevant countries for Argentina´s export of: dairy, meat, fruits, citric, crops, oilseed, crops and oilseed meals, vegetable oils, wine, tobacco, cotton, etc. The database was developed by Agriculture Insertion Program, a partnership between SRA, INAI, CIL and CRA, with the support of IADB/IMF.

G20 Decisions deal with the crisis and probable effects for Argentina
On May 5th., The Committee on Agriculture of the Argentine Council for International Relations (CARI) organized the Seminar "Actions and Proposals to deal with the Crisis (G20 and other forums): Impacts on International Agricultural Trade". How to meaningfully improve the coordinated actions of Mercosur countries in their foreign trade?

Within the scope of the Agricultural Insertion Program, which has the support of the IDB-MIF, a seminar was developed to present and debated the study made by the economist Marcela Cristini. The objective was to debate how to significantly improve the coordinated actions of Mercosur countries in their foreign trade. The meeting was held on the 21st of April in the “Salón Consejo” of the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange, located in Ave. Corrientes 127, 2nd floor. Also the event was benefited with valuable opinions of specialist such as Felix Peña and Jorge Iturriza. Attached is the summary of the study but it is only available in Spanish.

Current Situation of Argentine Exports in Grain and Oilseed Complexes
On March 19, the Committee of Agricultural Matters of the Argentine Council for International Relationships (CARI) organized the Seminar “Current Scenarios of Argentine Agricultural Exports”. The Executive Director of INAI Foundation, Dr. Ernesto Liboreiro, was invited to present the situation for grain and oilseed complexes.
